Lesson 106: Ngâ


ngâ

Ngâ has several meanings.
1. Use ngâ to say that something is indeed true.
Mayroón ngâ siyáng bagong coche.
She really has a new car.
Hindî ngâ siyá ang hulíng dumating.
He really was not the last to arrive.
2. Use ngâ when making a request.
Iyóng asín ngâ. Please pass the salt.
Puntá ka ngâ sa tindahan. Please go to the store.
3. Use ngâ to make a suggestion.
Subukan ngâ natin. How about we give it a try?
Pagbigyan ngâ ninyó. How about you give it a chance?
