Lesson 32: Non-personal names: ANG-case


Nouns that are not names of persons in the ANG-case
are marked by "ang" and "ang mga."

For terms of kinship, you may use either set of markers. Thus, you may say:
ang nanay or si nanay (mother)
si ate or ang ate (older sister)
ang tatay or si tatay (father)
si lolo or ang lolo (grandpa)
